盧 永強

Graduated from Diocesan Boys’ School and received his bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with honors from the University of Houston. Since his return to Hong Kong, David started off as the Art Director for Bates Graffix and Alan Chan Design. In 1999, David joined Grey Global Group as the Design Director and established Wba, a branding design company of Grey. Prior to launching Strategic Brand & Design Consultancy LOMATTERS, David joined South China Media as General Manager looking after popular magazines such as Esquire and CarPlus.

Coming from an extensive background in creative and media design, David has had a big hand in shaping the visual branding in oversea and Greater China. He specialises in corporate and brand identity design system, brand management and event planning. Outside of work, David has been contributing his time to mentoring design students at the Hong Kong Polytechnic university, The City Polytechnic University, HKDI, THEi, Hong Kong Baptist University and HKU SPACE etc.

David is the Vice-chairman and Board of Director of Hong Kong Design Centre, Member of HKTDC Design, Marketing and Licensing Services Advisory Committee, Design Council member of FHKI, the Design Subject Specialist of HKCAAVQ, the Member of Stamp Advisory Committee of Hong Kong Post Office, Faculty Advisory Committee of THEi. and the Member of Design Discipline Advisory Board of VTC.

David is also a proactive member in worldwide design competitions. He earned his special recognition at the awards of Communication Arts, New York Festivals, One Show, Young Guns Australia, Japan Applied Typography, Design for Asia Awards,  Hong Kong Designers Association Awards and Ten Outstanding Designers Award 2013 etc.

畢業於香港拔萃男書院，完成沙田工業學院平面設計課程後赴美國進修，於德州候斯頓大學取得藝術學士(榮譽)學位。1995年回港後於BATES GRAFFIX及陳幼堅設計公司任職美術總監。1999年加盟精英廣告公司，並成立品牌設計部精信設計顧問(WBA)。2006年盧先生加盟南華傳媒任職集團總經理，管理刊物如君子和CARPLUS等，同年創立LOMATTERS策略品牌設計顧問。

盧先生擁有豐富的國際及大中華品牌創作和媒體經驗，設計風格鮮明睿智，揉合中西文化精髓，以敏銳的市場觸覺，為機構設計企業形象、策略規劃、品牌管理和項目規劃等。他熱心推廣與提升香港的設計教育，曾出任香港及海外多間設計學院的客座講師，如香港理工大學、香港城市大學、香港知專設計學院、香港浸會大學和香港大學專業進修學院等。現任的公職包括香港設計中心董事會董事、香港貿易發展局設計委員會會員、香港設計委員會會員、香港學術及職業資歷評審局學科專家、香港郵票設計諮詢委員會會員、香港高等教育科技學院(THEI)的學術顧問及諮詢委員會會員和香港專業教育學院(VTC)設計學科顧問委員會會員等。

盧先生的創作曾獲多達百項本地及國際設計獎項，包括美國傳理藝術、紐約藝術節、美國金鉛筆、澳洲YOUNG GUNS、日本APPLIED TYPOGRAPHY、亞洲最具影響力設計大獎、香港設計師會雙年獎及2013香港十大傑出設計師等。
